The last gig to grace Mono before the lockdown was a beautiful Sunday afternoon with Aoife Nessa Frances, it seems like simple times now, halcyon days even.

18 months later Aoife (pronounced Ee-fa) returns to Mono for an evening submerged in sonic landscapes of psychedelic, experimental and folk music traditions. Her debut album ‘Land of No Junction’ was released to critical acclaim in Jan 2020 via Ba Da Bing Records & Basin Rock and it’s been a favourite at of ours and Monorail since.

A new single ‘Watching the Willows Burn’ a collaboration w/ Jack Name is out on Mexican Summer now and it’s a another spellbinding cosmic journey to a new nostalgia.
